It is not a bad idea to get in the habit of writing down your thoughts. It saves you having to bother anyone else with them

Having spent five years in the desert wondrousity that is Dubai, I have allowed myself a few months off before putting a foot back on the career ladder. This has allowed me the creative and mental freedom to start a diary – something I have been intending to do for some time. Over the past five years I have tried a number of times but was either too busy or too lazy to keep it going.

With the extra time I find myself having, now is the time to see if I can start one and keep it going. I also feel the desire and creative freedom to write about my experiences in Dubai so some of the posts will be about that. I am not sure what the other posts will be but hopefully they will be mildly coherent and occasionally interesting.

This blog is mainly for me, but I guess if that was 100% the case, I wouldn't be publishing it online so feel free to read, and, if you feel so inclined, judge. But, be nice. If you can.
